No — it was acquired. Razer announced on July 31, 2026 that it had bought the StreamElements assets, and the platform keeps running as a standalone product under a Razer subsidiary: same logins, same overlays, alerts and chatbot. Its SEPay tipping service is being sunset, with balances withdrawable until December 31, 2026 and payment processing moving to PayPal in 2027. Verified August 2026.

Can Kloot fully replace StreamElements?

For your overlays and live production — polls, giveaways, lower thirds, sponsors, hype effects — yes. For an automated chatbot and tipping pages, no; Kloot does not do those, and many streamers happily run both side by side.

Will Kloot’s overlays use less CPU?

Do I need to connect my Twitch or YouTube account?
